Pub 199 (name comes from its address, 199 Howard Blvd) is a great seafood pub/steakhouse. It is difficult to come across a place like this, especially where I live in central NJ. (Unfortunately, the closest thing I can find is Joe's Crab Shack..)

This restaurant has BIG portions at cheap prices (2 dozen clams + lobster/steak/snow crab/king crab + baked potato for $22-30). First timers may think that 2 dozen clams is a lot of food (I thought so too), but I ended up eating 2 dozen clams by myself and all that other food.

Definitely check this place out if you are in the area. 

Just a few tips: they accept cash only (there is an ATM in the restaurant). The decor is a bit hillbilly.. and definitely not for animal lovers (see picture below). I suggest going as a bigger group, as they have lots of seating and that way you can share all the good food!
